This Erard grand piano with a Burrell Walnut finish was crafted between 1835 and 1840 based on its serial number. The size is 7 feet and 2 inches with 85 intact ivory keys in good condition (the standard for pianos of this type) with all original parts and finish. Played by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, as relayed by its former owner when it was purchased in London, England in 1971. A rare find, and sure to be a sterling addition once it has a professional restoration.
