This is a Baldwin Model L, 6’3” grand piano, SN 363778. Made in the USA, purchased new in 1999.

I am a classically trained pianist and the original owner of this piano. It has been meticulously maintained over the years, including regular tuning, voicing, regulation and other minor repairs when needed. I have most of those maintenance records. It plays as well now as it did when it was new. I have used the same technician for the entire life of the piano. I’m selling because I don’t expect this to fit in my next home, and need to downsize.

The sound of the Baldwin is a full, rich sound. Through most of the 20th century, Baldwin and Steinway were the Big Two in American piano manufacturing. A comparable new piano in 2024 will run north of $50k.

The exterior cabinet is flawless. There are no scratches or blemishes. (Anything that appears uneven in the photos is either a reflection or just a bad photo… I'm not a professional photographer.) I owe this condition to the heavy duty cloth custom cover (also pictured), which is yours free with purchase of the piano. :)

The only signs of age are the wheels/casters, which have lots of scuff marks from being wheeled around. An average person can easily move this piano around on a solid surface. On carpeting you'll need some help. Also the serial number is partially faded due to me using that area as a container for paperclips, pens, pencils, and other small items over the years.
