This piano is exquisite - built in 1897, the soundboard and pinblock are original, leaving the workmanship from the last century intact. The cabinet is quarter sawed Mahogany, stained and primed with two coats of teak oil, followed by durable varnish and hand rubbed to a satin finish. A genuine Steinway decal graces the fallboard.

New action parts include new Steinway hammers and whippens, damper felts and keybed punchings. Key inserts have been relined with new wool cloth. All action parts have been cleaned, repaired, tightened and regulated (adjusted). The pedals have been replated and polished.

This piano is unique - it plays beautifully and has a magnificent sound. Even for a Steinway, it's a special instrument.
