This elegant Steinway M piano was restored in 1997 and sounds great. The restoration includes new pin block, strings, and tuning pins. All action parts have been replaced with genuine Steinway parts. It has been completely refinished inside and out, including hardware. The extra inches of the 5’7” Model M mean a bigger soundboard as well as longer base strings - the sound board is in remarkable condition. This gently used instrument sounds great and feels good to the touch. It is amazing that this great looking piano was built in 1924! It is a beautiful sounding musical instrument that has given our family much joy for many years. Our kids are older now so the piano has not been played much lately. Hope to find a family that could use and appreciate a beautiful Steinway piano at a reasonable price.
