This is a 40" console with direct-blow action. It is not a spinet and it doesn't sound like one, nor even a typical console. It sounds more like a large upright or a small grand. It has richer tone than the 5'2" Baldwin grand that's replacing it. So why am I selling it? Because I've always (i.e., for 50 years) wanted a Baldwin grand and one became available. Otherwise I'd keep it.

I bought it in 1994 and have made extensive improvements. It is very playable and with the installed Dampp-Chaser humidity control system, it needs only an occasional "touch-up" tuning.

The only work it needs that I know of is additional voicing to modulate the volume and tone.
