Sound Pure LLC

For more than 25 years, Sound Pure has specialized in exceptional musical instruments and professional recording equipment, serving discerning musicians, recording artists, and collectors throughout the United States.

Based in Durham, North Carolina, Sound Pure has built its reputation on deep product expertise, personalized service, and a genuine passion for instruments that inspire extraordinary performances. Our team includes accomplished musicians and recording professionals who understand that the finest instruments are more than simply beautiful objects—they are deeply personal tools of musical expression.

While grand pianos are not traditionally part of our inventory, we have the rare opportunity to offer two extraordinary New York Steinway Model Bs, each with its own distinctive musical personality and exceptional history of professional care. Both have been maintained by renowned concert piano technician Marc Wienert and are presented with detailed descriptions, photography, and actual performance recordings to help buyers appreciate the individual character of each instrument.

We welcome personal auditions by appointment at our Durham facility and are happy to assist prospective buyers with detailed information, independent inspections, and coordination with experienced professional piano movers nationwide.

At Sound Pure, our mission has always been simple: Delivering Inspiration. We would be delighted to help these remarkable instruments find their next homes.
