Yamaha U1 upright, one family for over 40 years, light use. Evaluated in person by a professional piano technician, who rated it very good to excellent condition for its age: no deep hammer grooves, key felts not overly worn, no cracked soundboard or bridge, and a pleasant touch. Last tuned about 8 years ago, but it is not far off pitch, which points to good tuning stability. The technician says no repairs are needed.
As is common with Yamaha uprights of this era, the original repetition spring cords may eventually need replacing. All notes currently function correctly, and the repair is optional. Technician’s comments available on request.
Bench with storage included. Original Yamaha key cover and warranty paperwork included. Dolly included. Located in Manhattan (SoHo), elevator building. Buyer arranges professional moving; I can share names of movers I’ve gotten quotes from. Additional photos and video available.
