It was built in NYC in 1926 during what is referred to as the “golden era” of piano construction. All keys function with even action. Pedals work well. Felt hammers in good shape. Belonged to a retired music teacher. Some cosmetic blemishes and could use a tuning. We are wanting to donate it to a good home and are willing to share in cost of moving. It’s much too nice of a piano to not be used. Irving Berlin owned a Sohmer. Is located in Georgetown SC. On first floor. In a stable climate in living room forever.
