Kawai Console Upright Piano | Prepared by A Piano Shop
Year: 1967
Serial Number: 269731

At A Piano Shop, piano restoration is our craft. We bring a restorer’s eye and a technician’s care to the instruments we offer, with respect for the materials, workmanship, and musical character that make each piano unique.

Our work encompasses soundboard and pinblock restoration, restringing, action rebuilding, hammer replacement, regulation, voicing, tuning, damper and pedal restoration, and cabinet refinishing. Every project begins with understanding the instrument and determining the work it needs to serve the musician well.

We now offer to the public a selected collection of pianos prepared in our workshop. Each instrument is individually assessed and receives attention according to its condition, with the goal of achieving a responsive touch, a balanced tone, and an enjoyable playing experience.

This Japanese-made Kawai console upright features a warm satin wood finish, a traditional cabinet design, and elegant fluted legs. Its compact cabinet makes it an attractive addition to a home, teaching studio, or practice room. It is an inviting choice for students, families, and musicians who appreciate an acoustic instrument supported by the care and experience of a restoration workshop.

We welcome inquiries about this piano’s condition, preparation, and musical qualities, and invite you to visit our Yonkers workshop to play it in person.
