A beautiful piece of 19th-century American musical history, this piano was built by Decker Brothers in 1869. With its distinctive square grand design and period craftsmanship, it represents an era when pianos were treasured centerpieces of the home as well as musical instruments. This piano is made of beautifully carved Brazilian Rosewood and is made in the Rococo Victorian style.  The piano was totally restored by the Antique Piano shop in 2014.
In a move from Denver to Houston, two hammers were broken. I received an estimate for repair from Manny's Piano Service for $1500. He recommended not to repair the piano until it was moved to the new owners.
