Offered for sale is a beautiful 1940 Knabe Baby Grand Piano (Model 128353) in a classic finish. This instrument has remained in my family for decades and is being offered only because I am downsizing.
I am the second owner. The piano was originally purchased by my great aunt, who cherished it and played it frequently until her passing in 1993. It has been in my smoke-free home since 1994, where it has been carefully preserved, but played in frequently.
Although it has not been played regularly in recent years and will need tuning before returning to active use, all keys, pedals, and mechanical components are in working condition. The cabinet shows expected cosmetic wear consistent with an 85-year-old instrument but remains an elegant piece that reflects Knabe's renowned craftsmanship.
