Pianos for Sale From Opera in Berlin to Your Salon?

This instrument originally belonged to my late husband, who inherited it from his grandmother, an opera singer in 1930s Berlin. It does not possess Blüthner’s patented aliquot string configuration. Its hammers, dampers, and keys are in quite good condition. Its finish is scuffed in places and has undergone a fair amount of crackling, though nothing too unsightly.

A reputable local technician appraised the piano in 2014 at a value between $10-12,000. She suggested that it will respond well to conventional tuning, but bringing it up to high performance standards will likely require re-stringing.

I recently retired and am intending to relocate out of MA. I would like to find a home for the piano prior to doing so, and am willing to cover half the cost of moving it within the greater Boston area.
