Appraisal:

The piano is a 5' 7” grand piano with a walnut satin finish. It bears the makers mark
on the fallboard and plate, and the serial number is stamped onto the plate.

General impressions: a wonderful piano from a world-renowned manufacturer.

Cabinet: There are no major blemishes on the finish, but there is some significant
scratching on the top and on the front part of the lid. There is a little bit of sun
fading under the folding lid, there are some scrapes on the bass cheek block, and
some evidence of some bad cabinet touch up.

Belly: good – bridges good. Plate good. Pinblock good. Soundboard has no cracking
but there are some unconcerning pressure ridges, a common thing with soundboards
from Steinway.

Action: Pedals all work – sustain, shift and sostenuto. Keys are all intact. The piano
plays well. Tone is medium to bright; touch is medium to light. Up to pitch at time of
inspection.

Value: The appraised Fair Market Value as of today, May 12th, 2026, in my opinion, is $30,000.
