The piano was professionally appraised by Steinway Hall Fort Worth, Texas in 2008 with a valuation of $56,800. It has been well cared for and remains a fine example of early 20th-century Steinway craftsmanship, with a rich tonal depth, and elegant presence.

It was tuned in October 2025 by a member of The Piano Technicians Guild, the world's premier source of expertise in piano service and technology. It has some imperfections due to age, but structurally sound with original soundboard and action.
