A Steinway & Sons Model B grand piano, built in 1887 (serial number 6333).

This is a 7 ft instrument, fully restored approximately ten years ago by a Steinway-authorised dealer, including action, strings, and frame. It remains in excellent playing condition and is regularly used.

The piano offers the balanced, warm tone typical of the Model B, with good projection and clarity across the full keyboard.

Cabinet

The instrument features a Victorian “art case” cabinet, with a carved music desk and decorative legs. The case has been refinished in a black high-gloss finish, giving it strong visual presence.

The original soundboard retains Steinway’s royal warrant artwork, including Her Majesty Queen Victoria of England, the Kings of Italy, Germany and Spain and the Emperor of Russia.

The keyboard reflects the original late-19th century configuration and remains fully usable across a wide repertoire.
