This Boston GP-178 has been a very special instrument to me. I purchased it from Steinway Hall in Fort Worth while preparing for my Master’s degree in Piano Performance at SMU in Dallas.

It was used for about two years during my graduate studies, always in a home setting and with great care. Outside of that period, it has remained covered in a temperature-controlled room. Because of this, it is in impressive condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The action was professionally regulated by one of SMU’s piano technicians, giving it a refined, responsive touch suitable for a serious pianist.

This piano has never been heavily used or neglected. It has been part of a disciplined, careful musical routine and then preserved properly.

The tone is warm, clear, and balanced, with the depth you would expect from a 5’10” grand.

I am selling it only because I am relocating and cannot take it with me.
