Selling my beloved 1936 Gulbransen Parlor Grand. As a professional musician and educator, I have cherished the warm, vintage "Golden Era" tone of this instrument and loved how beautiful the walnut wood looks.
Model: Parlor Grand Style 32 (5'5")
Finish: Original Walnut wood grain. Despite being a post-Depression instrument, pianos from 1936 still utilized high-quality, old-growth wood for their cabinets and soundboards. This is why the walnut exterior is still considered a "collector" or "art case" feature today.
History: Well-kept in a climate-controlled teaching studio in Cartersville, GA over the past 11 years.
Condition: The cabinet is in fairly good cosmetic condition for its age, though there is an area that need some attention, which you can see from the photos. Mechanically, all the notes play and has maintained tunings at regular intervals. This is a great addition for a collector of pre-WWII American instruments, or a family looking for a high-character "starter grand."
Price: $2,300 (Negotiable for serious buyers.)
