The Adam style is an 18th century neoclassical style of architecture and interior design originated by Scottish architect William Adam and his three sons. The “Adam” style found its niche from the late 1760’s in upper class residences in 18th century England, Scotland, and Russia. The style is known for the use of ovals, rosettes, elaborate scrollwork and square fluted legs.

This piano was crafted for a family in the New York Steinway factory in 1928. To preserve the integrity of this beautiful instrument, the piano was returned to the factory for a complete heirloom restoration in 2017.
