Steinway & Sons Model B grand piano, built in 1894, ebony finish, serial no. 81490. Fully rebuilt in 2019 by Michael Megaloudis at the Steinway & Sons Restoration Center in Long Island City, including new soundboard and bridges, new pinblock and strings, rebuilt action (hammers, shanks, repetitions, key bushings, damper system, trapwork), and refinished ebony satin case with new hardware, returning the instrument to original Steinway specification.
Since restoration, the piano has been professionally stored and maintained by Encore Piano in Southern California; sale includes the Steinway restoration documentation and certificate that accompanies factory restorations.
