Ellington grand piano. Serial number 102148. The piano is in great shape. At some point within the last 10 years, signs point to the case being refinished, plate being regilded, and the piano being restrung. The hammers have also recently been replaced, judging by the strike marks on the end of the hammer. The rest of the action looks original – the wood is darker due to aging - yet in good condition, with no broken or overly worn parts. The soundboard is in good condition with no cracks. Based on when the piano was last tuned, the pitch has held unusually well. This is indicative of good, tight tuning pins and a pinblock in good condition. 57" wide x 4'9" long
