Built in 1993, this is one of the respected Baldwins from the “made in the USA” era. Often called a parlor grand or professional grand, the Model R is suitable for instructors, performers and anyone who enjoys a great piano. It measures 5’8” long which is somewhat longer than a baby grand, and has a richer, fuller sound. Ours was used for a short time for concerts at a college before we bought it on a recommendation from a Steinway technician who tuned our prior piano. It has been well-maintained, regularly tuned and has a built-in humidity control system. The finish is excellent, no checking, fading or scratches, but it has a few small nicks on the lip of the keyboard cover. The interior and sounding board are all in fine condition.
