This 1920s Chickering concert grand is now for sale!

With ehough power and depth to fill a concert hall, but lustrous enough and an easy action feel to provide hours of musical enjoyment in your home.
This is a model 141 and a copy of the Steinway D, made in early 1920s.

The structure is intact and massive. The soundboard shows no problems.
Original ivory and ebonies (2 tiny chips). Finish is black lacquer, not satin.
The hammers (shanks/flanges), backchecks and wires were replaced with the highest quality German Renner parts. The key felts and key bushings were replaced and the lyre rebuilt (in 2004).
The action has undergone over 20 hours of detailed regulation. The pitch is stabilized at A440.

This piano comes with a nearly new Artist bench (padded & adjustable). This piano also comes with a complete DampChaser stem installed (3 rods + reservoir)
