In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Henry E. Steinway’s birth, Steinway & Sons produced only 200 of these Limited Edition grand pianos in classic Model L design. Truly unique and very rare, this historic piano follows a J.B. Tiffany design dating back to 1902. Each lid is graced with a tulip pattern and ornamented with intricately hand-carved egg and dart molding done by Steinway Master Artisans in our famed Astoria, Queens factory. Encased in exotic African Pommelé, each of the 200 limited edition pianos bears a commemorative decal and an individually numbered polished brass medallion. Our Tiffany #23 is in gorgeous condition. Not just beautiful, this Model L plays and sounds like only a handmade Steinway can. Truly remarkable and even lovelier in person.
