I have decided to sell my Steinway “A” grand piano. Purchased from Caruso Piano in 2022, unfortunately I just don’t play it as often as I'd like.

Hand crafted in New York in 1892, this is the first generation “A” at 6’,0” in length. An 85 note model, which is typical of the time period.

The piano was restored in the early 2000’s. Some highlights of this restoration include:
-New pinblock. The piano was recently tuned and my very reputable technician remarked on how nice and tight the tuning pins felt - holds tune very well.
-Repaired original Steinway soundboard. In the driest winter months, there are a couple areas where the seams in the repaired soundboard develop a very minor superficial hairline crack. My piano technician has assured me this does not affect the integrity of the soundboard or the sound of the piano. There are no separated ribs or buzzing.
-Satin ebony finish in excellent condition. A few very minor blemishes, but not all that noticeable.
-Rebuilt action with new Abel hammers, restored nickel hardware, ivory key tops, rebronzed plate, and historically appropriate Steinway logo.

The piano has been tuned twice a year and very well maintained.

Voiced and regulated in 2023.

Sale includes adjustable vinyl upholstered bench and Damp Chaser humidity system.

Moving is at buyer’s expense and must be arranged with a reputable piano mover.
