This piano had some major parts replaced, strings, felts & I think leathers‬ about 40-50 years ago. This piano has been in the family for 4 generations, never under heavy use.‬
‭ It has been well cared for but we do not have dated records of maintenance or tuning. It‬ has been about 5 years since its last tuning. It was my grandmothers piano given to my father and in his home‬ 1950 - 2012. Then, given to my son and family and moved to his home till now. It is in Falls Church,‬ Virginia. It has beautiful depth of sound. The finish has some checking but the keys are excellent. I believe‬ some of ivories were replaced many years ago‬. It is for sale because family no longer will have a space for this beautiful old classic.
