Beautiful and well-maintained Kawai RX-2 grand piano, built in 2014. This is a 5’10” professional grand from Kawai’s highly regarded RX series, known for its responsive touch, rich tonal clarity, and long-lasting quality. It features Ultra-Responsive Action, a gorgeous high-gloss ebony “Hard Finish,” soft closing keyboard cover, and Kawai’s signature craftsmanship. The sound of this piano is incredible, with richly resonant base notes and lovely clear upper notes. Located in Auburn, Alabama, the piano was purchased new in 2016 from Ellis Piano in Birmingham, Alabama for private home use and has been played very lightly. It has been tuned and maintained by the former piano technician of Auburn University and is in fabulous condition. Even among K. kawaii pianos, the sound of this one is remarkable. It comes with original paperwork.
