The piano was bought new for my wife on its listed date from Steinway as the fulfillment of her dream. She came to the US as a music major and received a Master of Piano. It was her desire that as soon as we could afford it, she would buy a Steinway, and this is the one. She lightly but lovingly used it during her life which recently ended. Since her death the piano was professionally regulated, voiced, and serviced in any way needed with the detailed report available. It is my wish and that of my two children that the piano find a new home where it will be used, enjoyed, allowed to display its personality, and be an appreciated part in its new venue. Unfortunately, I cannot fulfill that role in that while a knowledgeable listener, I am not a musician. It is located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and presently sits proudly in our living room.
The piano comes with a bench as can be seen and a single chair. In addition, and it is likely no one cares for paper scores are probably passe`, I have lots of sheet music that will be included. The black satin finish has a few minor blemishes that inevitably come with a lifetime of even loving use.
