That is an Arizona area code, but I am in Maryland...just kept the same number!

This fabulous piano has been tuned twice a year, most recently in November of 2023 and holds the sound beautifully. It's base gives a resounding sound and the keys are light to touch. The Wisconsin Triple A Birch sounding board gives off a magnificent resonance that fills a room. The widened back end produces as good a sound as a 9 ft. grand. It is a perfect piano for a chapel or recital hall, not to mention your home in a large room. The case has no scratches of any kind and looks brand new. It is considered the best of the mid size concert pianos by Piano Technicians Guild. The GP 218 II is the result of years of improvements on the Boston by Steinway until this model came along where all previous problems were eliminated.
Appraised at $23,500 but there is no more room to show another picture, but I am copying the estimate by Roger's Piano Service in November of 2023, in which is quoted, according to the Depreciation book of 2002 would be 43%, but Mr. Kovacs claims this piano is better than that and a new model would sell for $55K. He states;
1. The piano shows little to no wear.
2. Action is in very good condition.
3. Has a lovely mellow tone.
4.Deep resonating base.
5.Great glistening treble.
6. The hammers are in perfect shape.
7. Tunes nicely.
8. Must play to appreciate its wonderful qualities.
9. A beautiful piano.

The registration number, B134701 shows it was manufactured in 2000 but was in a warehouse until I bought it in September of 200, never played. However the wrong piano was delivered with a matte finish, and the new ebony polished one did not arrive until 2005, but still brand new. I am the original owner with proof of purchase from Steinway.

This is an absolutely fabulous piano, for a fabulous price...why spend more for a larger grand piano when this sounds just as good?

I spent over a month researching what piano to buy before purchasing this one, at the time we were given a special price of $34,000 by the Tucson Steinway Gallery...actually, should have been closer to $40,000. No other brand appealed to me as much as this one...especially the great price and gorgeous sound! If you want a GRAND piano, this is the one!
