Steinway Model B # 493188 was manufactured at the Steinway factory in Long Island New York. The piano was originally used as an Artist’s piano for 2 years. During this brief period, it was used by several Steinway artists and kept up to a high standard. Once it was sold, the new owners cared for the instrument meticulously and had all of its service performed by a Steinway concert technician.

The owners have since decided to downsize to a smaller Steinway model M, and we are consigning the piano for the family.
The Piano is in excellent original condition but will receive some service-related maintenance to ensure the highest level of sound and touch.
The Soundboard and bridges are all in excellent condition, free from any imperfections.

All of the cabinet parts will receive a thorough cleaning along with a light touch-up as well.
Finally, all of the Brass work will receive a polish, buff, and re-spray to ensure the longevity of the parts.
