Circa 1893 World's Fair Piano, located in Colorado Springs.
It that is copper embossed on the front. It is quite unique and was one of only 6 made for the fair. I do have letter from 1893 World's Fair explaining where the museum thinks it came from.
It is a combination of two pianos, both from the 1800s, because the first one was unrestorable. We love it but do not have a place for it at our new house. It was last tuned about three years ago. Some ivory is missing but the tuner said that is replaceable.
