This 1893 Steinway Model A Brand Piano Serial #75423 was restored in the late 1980's. I purchased this in 2004 from Ben Knauer of Knauer Pianos. It was tuned and cleaned in mid November.

This came from a fine country home. The renewed action has had very little use. This heirloom piano ois a highly sought after style and year. This is a wonderful instrument and styled showpiece. The strings, tuning pins, hammers/shanks and flanges, damper felts, were replaced. It was refinished in a distressed off-white finish. The tuning pins are tight for good tuning stability.
The piano has been a showpiece in my home with very little play as none of my children learned to play as I hoped. We are moving and this magnificent piano can't come with us. It is beautiful and was recently played by a professional and the sound took my breath away.
