This 100-year-old Chickering Quarter Grand piano has been in my family for over 70 years. Serial number 140187 and the year 1925 on the harp.
It was purchased in Fresno California in the mid 1950s for my late husband as a child and stood in the same house until it was moved here to Saint Helena California in the mid 1990s. It has been in relatively dry and protected environment all of its life.
The piano sounds good. No sign of moisture problems, all tuning pins still look good.
Finish has scratches.
