Steinway Model M Serial # 284967 was manufactured in 1937 in New York. The most popular and well-rounded Steinway, the Model M is fashioned as the “Studio Grand” for your home. Measuring 5’7” in length, the Model M is ideal for smaller, more intimate spaces. By designing a piano at this scale, Steinway & Sons envisioned the Model M for the home and specific institutional and professional use.

This piano has undergone a complete and thorough restoration featuring all-new steinway action, hand-rubbed ebony satin finish, and original Ivory keys.
Our piano technicians have regulated and voiced the piano to achieve an optimal response from the action and achieve a classic steinway sound.

New Hard Rock Maple pin block, tuning pins, and Mapes Strings have been installed.
The cast iron plate has been bronzed and lettered by hand. The pedals and lyre have undergone a full and complete restoration as well.
