CONOVER GRAND PIANO - $100 OBO
This handsome Conover grand piano is ready for a new home due to our downsizing. It has been in the family since the 1970’s.
The piano features a rich, mahogany wood with a satin finish. Keys, strings, hammers and soundboard are in good condition. It has great tone and projection. It has been played and tuned regularly over the last 20 years, and the velvet piano bench is included.
The precise date of manufacture cannot be determined as there is no obvious serial number available. It is possible the serial number was covered up during the thorough refurbishment of the piano in the 1990’s. Very often the serial numbers are stamped onto the plate, but if the plate is re-gilded, sometimes the serial number is not re-stamped.
We think the piano was made in the 1950’s.
