This traditional style 1926 Steinway, A-III (6’4½”) piano (with damp chaser) was totally rebuilt and refinished to perfection in 2006/7. It is registered with Steinway in New York, Serial #241,456. The case is Mahogany, satin finish, with brushed nickel hardware. The fallboard/name plate is buffed as well as the underside of the piano lid is buffed to a French Polish. The reflection of the player’s hands as well as that of the strings and gold harp are visibly reflected in this French Polish. It has been tuned twice yearly by the finest techs and revoiced about 6 months ago. Upon your examination, it is possible to voice according to your desires. The quality of the tone is warm and extremely expressive. The action is also extremely expressive from the softest to the fullest, it does not fail. It was rebuilt by a Steinway Rebuilder who retired from the Steinway New York rebuilding shop in the 90s. His work was beyond exceptional. Leather-topped artist bench, with matching legs is included. You are welcome to come and play this instrument, you will not be disappointed. I am a retired professional musician who resides on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland, and I will be delighted to pick you up at any nearby airport, or whatever arrangements are necessary to enable your viewing of this exemplary Steinway.
