This piano just came out of our shop . It has been REBUILT and REFINISHED; Action replaced with new GERMAN PARTS, new strings, felts, keytops, damper felt, key bushings, all brass replaced or refurbished and polished.
The action regulated for a performance piano; hammers voiced, pedals and dampers regulated. New pin block for long term tuning stability --READY TO PERFORM !!!

Handcrafted in New York in 1948, this Steinway Model S (5’-1”) has undergone a complete and total rebuilding by Atlantic Music Center in 2023. The case, lid, and all cabinetry components have been impeccably refinished in a traditional satin Mahogany finish. All brass and metalwork were either replaced or polished to like-new condition, and the cast iron plate was removed, refinished, and re-installed after refinishing the soundboard and bridges. We replaced the pinblock and installed new tuning pins. The strings were replaced with brand new Mapes piano strings and we installed brand-new high-quality Renner Bluepoint hammers, shanks, and flanges. All felts including damper felts were replaced, the key bushings were replaced, and all worn action parts replaced. The action has been regulated, hammers voiced, and the piano has been tuned several times to ensure long term stability.
