The CFX is the piano that Elton John and other artists signed to Yamaha play in concert.

Perfect for accompanying or performing on its own, regardless of the type of music.

This is a very powerful piano and can easily fill a room with its voice.

Measures 9' 0" in length x 63" in width x 40.5" in height.

Weight: 1,069 lbs.

Bosendorfer was acquired by Yamaha in 2008. The result was that Yamaha received many of the qualities and construction that made Bosendorfer such a powerhouse of a piano. In return, Yamaha provided Bosendorfer with a smoother action as the Bosey's tended to be stiff and required more force to play.

The CFX was the first beneficiary of this arrangement.

The tonal qualities are pure from the lowest bass to the highest trebles.

Finished in a gloss black cabinet with a satin black finished lid top, this piano is truly a masterpiece, both as an instrument, and as something to behold.

It tends to hold its tune very well and has been kept in an environment of 70 degrees with 40% humidity.

Purchased new in November 2016, it has had only one owner who is the only person to have played it.

Note: February 13, 2023: I had the owner of the piano gallery I purchased this piano from inspect it today. On a scale of 0-100, he rated it a 99. Tone, action, condition, cosmetics, etc.
