The highest quality materials and workmanship were utilized in this piano which was produced long before Baldwin’s eventual decline. (Pianos bearing the Baldwin name in stores today are Chinese pianos which don’t share the scale design or manufacturing methodology of the great Baldwins from the past.)

The high quality spruce utilized in the soundboard produces a powerful, round, warm sound with surprisingly full bass, and singing treble. Baldwin utilized their patented Accu-just hitch pins which provides a longer tone life due to precise downbearing.

The only words that can describe this particular Baldwin M is Mint Condition. The piano appears like new inside and outside. From the case, to the action, everything is in stellar condition. On a personal note, after graduating from music conservatory, my wife and I bought a new Baldwin model M just like this one since it represented the best piano available at the time (in a size we could afford!)
