Up for sale is a Yamaha 52" upright piano. Professional musician owned and maintained. This piano rivals many baby grand pianos I've played in terms of sound and feel. Warm and fat sound, lots of bass, even weighted action...a real instrument. U7's are now discontinued but are the predecessor to the tallest upright, U3 models today. It was Yamaha's top tier upright piano in the 70's and early 80's. Dozens of top shelf NYC pianist have played on this the last few years in my studio and had great things to say about its sound and feel. Selling because I'm moving out of NYC. Piano has some cosmetic blemishes, a few chips and dings from the last movers. To be transparent I took close ups pics of these, but they're really not that noticeable in real life. Only serious inquiries! I'd love to see this piano go to a serious musician or student. It sounds and feels like a Baby Grand.
