This is a rare piano for North America - hand crafted in Germany and privately imported to the ‘States, it is a fine example of the quality differences in European tone. The Ibach company was founded in 1794, and is still family-owned and built in their German factory. This is very rare nowadays, as most old piano brands have been sold and are now manufactured in China, Korea, and Indonesia. We have performed restoration, regulation, and voicing, to get this piano sounding and playing its best. There are some blemishes, but not many, and it doesn’t effect the sound.
