This piano is as close to new as you can get in a used piano. It has received only light use during it's lifetime and is perfect in every way. The soundboard and bridges are in excellent condition showing no splits or cracks. The hammers and other action parts are in excellent condition showing low wear. The beautiful high gloss finish is in excellent condition with no niks, dings or gouges.

The tone of this piano is somewhere in the middle - not too bright, not too mellow. The sound is rich, full and powerful. The action is smooth and responsive. Kawai is one of the first manufacturers to use carbon composite material in their action parts. The advantage is that carbon composite parts are impervious to changes in temperature and humidity therefore eliminating all of the various problems that can occur with wooden action parts.

This model is no longer manufactured by Kawai but a similar replacement model has a list price of $39,495. Save thousands with this slightly used model but sacrifice nothing in terms of tone or performance. Matching bench is included.
