This Knabe Grand was built in the late 1800's and rebuilt in the 1970's. The strings, hammers, and sound board are in very good condition.The bench that comes with it is in very good shape and the upholstery is in excellent condition. The cabinet is rosewood and is in beautiful condition. It has been privately owned by the same family for 50 years. The soft pedal and both sustaining pedals are very responsive. The keyboard cover slides with some effort but completely uncovers and covers the keyboard. This piano has a very bright and even sound and has been played regularly by a trained pianist.
