Steinway Grand Piano Model O serial# 190703 Work just completed.

This piano has been rebuilt with the goal of providing a great sounding reliable Steinway at an affordable cost. The most expensive single component of a piano restoration is putting on a new perfect finish. However many people want the great sound of a Steinway grand but do not care what it looks like. Musicians, music schools, churches etc. Not putting a new perfect finish on a grand piano removes about $7000 in cost. A few other parts of the piano that are purely visual also do not need to be done and were not done for additional cost reductions. That said, an inexpensive finish was put on the piano resulting in a clean finish that looks very good but not perfect.

However the most important elements of restoration work were done.

Piano does have a new pinblock, new strings, new keys, new hammers etc. Voiced and regulated to Steinway factory specifications. Piano has a excellent sound and touch. Will provide many years of pleasurable use. Price includes guaranty, tuning and local delivery.
