This 88 key ebony lacquer piano has spade legs and comes with a matching padded duet bench. It was manufactured between 1930 and 1935. This is important because the pianos were made in in the USA not in China then and the underside of the keys are wood not plastic. In July of 2011 after yearly tunings, it was time to recondition the piano. The professional Reconditioner came highly recommended. He installed a new pin block, new strings, new damper felts and new hammers. This refurbishment cost $4,126.99. I had my piano tuner and the Reconditioner estimate a value for the piano and the estimate is between $6,000 and $7,000. Apparently, there are not many available of this vintage.
