I am looking for a home for our grandmother's 5'2" August Förster grand piano. In Larry Fine's "Piano Book," the August Förster piano receives the highest possible rating in the areas of performance, quality control, and confidence (Fine's term for general durability). In his "High Quality Performance Pianos" category, Fine ranks the August Förster piano as just below Bechstein, Grotrian, and Bösendorfer. I concur and would like to find it a good home.
