Fans of Steinway's Golden age, this is your piano. This is indeed the highly sought after model A III. The piano was fully rebuilt and refinished perhaps in the 1980's. I have many details but message me as I'm still gathering information. I can state, the piano is ready to play, has acceptable touch and tone. The cosmetics are at least a grade B. Replaced during the rebuilding: Pinblock, Strings, Tuning Pins, Hammers and Hammershanks, Soundboard repaired and refinished, Plate and Cabinet refinished.
