Maintained in smoke free residential environment for at least 20 years. For the past four years, it has served our church for our twice weekly services. The action was partially rebuilt with new hammers and flanges and the bass strings were replaced. Of course, it has been cleaned, lubricated, regulated and kept in tune. In 2015, the cabinet was professionally stripped and refinished and is in excellent condition, as are the original ivory keys. This piano has the power to fill with sound all but the largest concert halls, yet it does not overpower our 200 seat sanctuary.
