Selling my 1918 Steinway A3, aka the long A, aka the stretch A. This has always been my dream piano but now it's time to be your dream come true. Sad to see it go but I plan to move to a smaller space and a 6'4" Steinway grand is a little large. This is a great value for the most desirable Steinway scale design ever made. These are getting harder and harder to find as they only made them until about 1936. Beautiful original ivory keys.

If you don't have room for a B or a D this is the best size to have. This is a great deal! If you bought a restored A3 by the best rebuilders in the US, it will cost you $65,000. A new Steinway A will cost $100k and they are smaller than this A3. Within the last 10 years it has had the following work done:

New pinblock and pins
New Strings
Case Refinished
New genuine Steinway hammers and repetitions
Pedal lyre and pedal box rebuilt

The piano is not perfect but the price more than reflects the condition, there are cracks in the soundboard. This is an ideal piano if you are looking for something that can be played for years to come with the desire to rebuild later. You can't find a long A in any condition for less than 10k. So for a little more this is a steal. I have included many pictures, and even made a video as I know there are so many scams.
