The model 125 was based on Chickering’s famous Quarter Grand design which was one of the most effective compact grand piano designs in the history of piano building. It is several inches narrower than other pianos, yet still has the full 88 keys.

This piano has a brand new set of Mapes bass strings for an exceptionally rich bass for a piano of this size. It has an immaculate set of original real (not plastic) keytops that are smooth and allow for a comfortable playing experience. Our technicians have gone through the piano inside and out with fine regulation and voicing. The piano has a nice crisp, vibrant tone in all registers, yet with warmth which is a characteristic of fine Chickering pianos.
