This is a vintage Blüthner Art-case Grand Piano that has been rebuilt perhaps in the 1990’s. It has been restored to a very high standard. It appears to have a new soundboard, pinblock, strings, hammers and other action parts. The case has also been refinished. It has been brought back to its former glory!

Blüthner is in an elite league of top-tier, hand-made German pianos. There is a unique sound to Blüthner pianos which people seek out. There are very few of these instruments available. So, when one comes along that has been restored to a high level, it is truly a treasure.

The piano is also a work of art with the hand carved woodwork. The action is responsive and plays evenly throughout all registers.

The handwork is evident in all aspects of design and production. The strings are each individually wrapped to each hitch pin instead of just looping around them. There is nothing spared in creating one of the world’s greatest pianos.
